Noel Zanocz Claims His First-Ever EMX250 Victory in France

Noel Zanocz of the JM Racing Honda team has secured his first-ever win in the EMX250 class. During the round held in Ernee, France, Zanocz took the overall victory with 1st and 4th place finishes in the motos.

After struggling to find the right feeling with the track during free practice, he managed to set a solid third-fastest time in time practice. A strong start in the opening moto allowed him to take the lead early on. He quickly found his rhythm and held onto the top spot lap after lap. In the second half of the race, he came under pressure from championship leader Janis Reisulis, but Zanocz remained composed and mistake-free, which enabled him to cross the finish line as the winner.

In the second moto, Zanocz was boxed in after the gate dropped and entered the first turn in last position. He immediately began a charge through the field, making up ground at a rapid pace. Midway through the race, he moved into fourth place, which was enough to secure the overall win.

Zanocz is enjoying a strong debut season in the EMX250 class and currently sits second in the championship standings.

David Braceras scored 6 points in the MX2 class. In the first moto, he crashed hard on the opening lap. It took him a long time to get going again, which meant he had a lot of work to do to fight back into the points. In the end, he salvaged a 19th place finish.

In the second moto, his pace was just slightly off compared to the group ahead of him. The gap was small, but Braceras wasn’t able to close it. After giving it his all, he crossed the line in 17th place.

With his results, Braceras finished 18th overall for the day and now sits 16th in the championship standings.

Brent van Doninck couldn’t find his rhythm on the technical Ernee circuit. He did not finish the first moto, but in the second race, he managed to score points with an 18th place finish.

Next weekend, the JM Racing Honda team heads to Teutschenthal, Germany, for the next round of the Grand Prix season.

Brent van Doninck In the Top Ten in MXGP of Galicia

Brent van Doninck of the JM Racing Honda team secured his first top-ten finish of the season during the ninth round of the MXGP World Championship in Lugo, Spain. The Belgian rider finished ninth in the opening moto, a major confidence boost after a preseason plagued by injuries.

With the Lugo circuit heavily muddied for Sunday’s first moto, a good start was crucial. Van Doninck got off the line well and quickly found his rhythm. He managed to overtake several riders and crossed the finish line in ninth place — a result that significantly boosted his confidence.

In the second moto, Van Doninck experienced issues with his goggles on the opening lap, causing him to lose several positions. The treacherous track conditions made things more difficult in this race. Nonetheless, he pushed through and finished in seventeenth place.

However, he lost a spot in the wave section and ultimately crossed the line in a solid third place. His combined results earned him third overall for the weekend. After six rounds, Zanocz now sits second in the EMX250 Championship standings.

Home GP Struggles for Braceras
David Braceras had a tough home Grand Prix in Lugo. On Saturday, he suffered a hard crash in time practice, sustaining a deep cut on his arm. With limited mobility, he sat out the qualifying heat. After medical treatment Saturday evening, Braceras felt improved by Sunday morning and decided to compete.

In the first moto, a poor gate pick led to a bad start, and he was forced to swap goggles mid-race. He found better pace towards the end and finished seventeenth. His second moto started far stronger, exiting the first corner just outside the top five. He ran well in the opening laps but crashed while holding seventh. Braceras then maintained eleventh for much of the race but faded late and suffered another fall, eventually finishing seventeenth again.

Braceras ended the day eighteenth overall and now holds fifteenth in the championship standings.

The next Grand Prix will take place in Ernée, France, on the weekend of May 24–25.

Noel Zanocz Takes Second Place in EMX250 Portugal

Noel Zanocz of the JM Racing Honda team finished second in the fifth round of the EMX250 Championship in Agueda, Portugal.

Zanocz started the weekend strong by setting the fourth-fastest time in qualifying. He felt comfortable on the track and was looking forward to the first moto.

Just before the start of the first moto, heavy rain began to fall. Zanocz got off the line around tenth place, but due to the mud, he had to remove his goggles already during the opening lap. Despite this, he managed to work his way forward throughout the race and finished in a solid fourth place.

In the second moto, Zanocz had a much better start and grabbed the holeshot. He held the lead through the first half lap but was soon overtaken.
While trying to find his rhythm, he suffered a big crash on the finish jump, which dropped him to fifth. He fought back to third and launched an attack on the rider in second place. In the heat of the battle, the two made contact, causing Zanocz to crash again. From fourth, he pushed forward once more and managed to reclaim the lead. Unfortunately, in the tough conditions, he crashed again, dropped to third, and ultimately crossed the finish line in second place.

With 4-2 results in the motos, Zanocz secured second overall for the day. In the EMX250 Championship standings, he now holds second place, trailing the leader by 12 points.

David Braceras had a tough qualifying race on Saturday, suffering several crashes, which left him with a poor gate pick for Sunday’s motos. Despite this, Braceras put in a solid ride in the first moto and finished tenth. In the second moto, he was again riding around tenth place until a crash cost him significant time. After the fall, he couldn’t regain his rhythm and finished in 18th place.

Braceras ended the day 16th overall and now sits 14th in the championship standings.

Brent van Doninck made his return to the MXGP World Championship in Portugal. He completed both motos, finishing 20th and 16th, respectively. From here, Brent can continue building toward his previous form.

Next weekend, JM Racing Honda will head to Lugo, Spain, for the next Grand Prix.
