Brent van Doninck close of scoring a top ten position in Spain

Brent van Doninck of the JM Racing Honda team has come close to a top ten place during the last round of the MXGP World Championship in Cozar, Spain. Van Doninck had a difficult first moto in which he failed to score, but he came back strong in the second moto and then crossed the finish flag in eleventh place.

In the first moto, van Doninck got a good start but was pushed wide in the first corner. To make matters worse, he crashed during the first lap and hurt his hand and thumb. Van Doninck continued on his way but crashed again later in the moto and was then so far behind that scoring points was no longer an option.

In the second moto he got his revenge. He was in a battle with Maxime Renaux for ninth place for a long time. He rode a strong moto but was passed by Jan Pancar in the closing stages and eventually crossed the finish line in eleventh place.

After his zero score in the first moto, Van Doninck still finished in fourteenth place in the day’s classification. Max Werner rode the last race of the EMX250 Championship in Spain. In the first moto it didn’t go well. He struggled with arm pump and couldn’t find his feet on the track. Because he couldn’t hold on to the bike well, there was no more in it than a fourteenth place.

In the second moto it went better. He got a good start and rode the entire race in fourth place. With these results he finished in seventh place in the general classification and in the final standings of the championship he finished eighth.

Brent van Doninck will now prepare for the MX of Nations in Matterley Basin, Great Britain where he will defend the colours of Team Belgium.

Maximilian Werner of the JM Racing Honda team finished sixth in the penultimate round of the EMX250 Championship in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. Werner crossed the finish line in ninth place in the first moto but did even better in the second moto with a sixth place.

Werner immediately had a good feeling on the track. This ensured that he managed to set a good sixth time in time training, which was his best result in time training so far. Motivated, he started preparing for the first moto. He didn’t get a good start but managed to quickly work his way up to sixth place in the early stages. He then attacked the rider in front of him but couldn’t get by him. He took over the speed of the rider in front of him and this resulted in him starting to make mistakes. Werner lost several positions and eventually finished ninth.

Before the second moto, Werner suffered a major setback. He crashed heavily in the sighting lap and it was unclear whether he would be able to ride. Werner decided to ride anyway and surprisingly managed to take the lead. He was riding a good race and managed to cross the finish line in sixth place.

With a 9-6 in the motos, Werner finished in sixth place in the day’s classification. In the standings of the EMX250 Championship he has climbed to seventh place.

Max Werner scores third place in EMX250 Switzerland

JM Racing Honda’s Max Werner finished third in the penultimate round of the EMX250 Championship in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. Werner managed to achieve this position in the second moto after he was classified 33rd in the first moto due to dehydration.

It was really hot on Saturday and this made it tough for the riders. The track was dry and fast. After Werner had managed to set a thirteenth time on the clock in time practice, he did not a good start in the first moto. He had to work his way back to the front from around twentieth place. This went well and before the middle of the race he was already in twelfth place. He kept the pace high until he overheated and had to drop the pace. Werner was no longer able to ride normally and lost a lot of positions. He finally was classified in 33rd position.

After the moto, Werner immediately went to the medical post to be treated. Fortunately, he slowly recovered and was able to ride in the second moto on Sunday morning. Due to the heavy rainfall in the night from Saturday to Sunday, the conditions were completely different. The track had become muddy and very treacherous.

Werner took the lead in the second moto and led the field after the start. In the early stages he dropped back to third place but was riding a very strong race and managed to hold on well. Werner crossed the finish line in third and scored a lot of important points.

Due to his zero score in the first moto, he had to settle for eleventh place in the day’s classification. He is now ninth in the EMX250 Championship standings.

Brent van Doninck had a setback in Switzerland. He crashed at the start of the qualifying heat and suffered a concussion. He also suffers a lot from a bolt in his foot, which was put in during his foot fracture earlier this year. Brent van Doninck of JM Racing Honda came close to the top ten in the fifteenth round of the MXGP world championship in Uddevalla, Sweden. Van Doninck managed to finish eleventh and twelfth in the motos and became eleventh in the overall classification.

Due to the heavy rainfall on Friday, the circuit was slippery on Saturday with treacherous hard ruts. Van Doninck used his time in practice to get used to the circuit and managed to set a twelfth time in time practice. Van Doninck also finished twelfth in the qualifying heat and was looking forward to the motos on Sunday with confidence.

In the first moto, Van Doninck got off to a reasonable start and came out of the first lap just inside the top fifteen. With a good rhythm, he managed to work his way up to eleventh place within a few laps. Van Doninck had his sights on the top ten but failed to gain an extra position and finished eleventh.

The start of the second moto was better and this time he came out of the first lap in eleventh place. He worked his way up to tenth place and managed to hold on for a number of laps. However, in the closing stages he could not hold on to this position and lost two places. Exhausted, Van Doninck crossed the finish line in twelfth place and became eleventh in the overall classification.

Max Werner competed in the EMX250 class in Sweden. Werner managed to take the lead in both motos and was leading for laps in the first moto. Maximilian Werner seventh in EMX250 Latvia

In the sixth race of the EMX250 Championship in Kegums, Latvia, Maximilian Werner of the JM Racing Honda team finished seventh.

Kegums has been the circuit where the Latvian Grand Prix has been held for the last fifteen years. The heats of the EMX250 class were completed under perfect conditions, while the MX2 class had to deal with rain showers here and there.

In the MX2 class, Delvintor Alvarizi had a difficult start to his weekend, the practice sessions did not go as planned, but fortunately he managed to find a better pace in the qualifying heat. He eventually finished 23rd. In the first heat on Sunday, Delvintor got a good start after which he finished the first lap in twenty-first place. He then lost a few places during the heat because he couldn’t get into his rhythm and had to settle for twenty-fifth place. In the second moto he had a good start after which he managed to make up a few places in the first lap, but unfortunately he was thrown from his bike in the second lap and hit the ground hard. Alvarizi tried to continue riding, but unfortunately this turned out not to be possible due to the pain.

In the EMX250, Werner had a reasonable start in the first moto. He came out of the first lap in ninth place, but because he had difficulty concentrating he lost a few places in the early stages. Fortunately, he was able to recover afterwards and came back to the front with a good pace, eventually crossing the finish line in ninth place.

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, Maximilian suffered a setback because his bag with cross gear was stolen. This bag contained his knee braces and other gear. Fortunately, he was able to borrow braces from another rider and he stood behind the starting gate with mixed feelings. Once the gate fell, he rode a solid race in which he again finished ninth. “All in all, quite a good weekend in terms of riding, we were able to make another step in the right direction and I am happy with that,” said Werner.

This weekend the MX2 World Championship will continue in Maggiora, Italy. The EMX250 Championship will be continued at July 27 and 28 in Lommel, Belgium.

Hakon Osterhagen leaves a strong impression in Portugal

Hakon Osterhagen of the JM Honda Racing team has left a strong impression in the fifth round of the MX2 World Championship in Agueda, Portugal. Osterhagen was in the running for a podium position for a long time but then ran into problems and saw his chances go up in smoke.

Osterhagen had a good feeling on the track right from the start. The circuit became more and more difficult due to the heavy rainfall and Osterhagen did this well. He qualified on Saturday in a strong third place.

In both motos on Sunday he got a very good start. In the first moto he managed to finish a strong seventh. In the second moto he was in even better shape. In the early stages he was in second place and later in third position. At that moment he had a podium place in his hands but unfortunately he slipped in the muddy conditions and crashed. Later in the moto he crashed again, which meant that a top ten place was lost and he was classified nineteenth. Due to the setback in the second moto, he had to settle for fourteenth place in the day’s classification and in the world championship standings he sits in eighteenth place.

Delvintor Alfarizi struggled in the tough conditions in Portugal. In the first moto he couldn’t get into his rhythm and the riding didn’t go according to plan. In the second moto he started strong and came out of the start in twentieth place. He then worked his way up to the top fifteen. Unfortunately, Alfarizi also crashed once and couldn’t get back into his rhythm after that. Unfortunately, Alfarizi didn’t score in Portugal, but he is motivated to do better in Spain.

Tim Edberg managed to take seven points in the first moto of the MXGP class with a fourteenth place. This did not go without a struggle. In the moto he came back from eighteenth place to fourteenth position but then he got a stone on his eye. Edberg came home in fourteenth and scored seven points. With less visibility and dizzy in his head, Edberg started in the second moto. By riding in a controlled manner and making as few mistakes as possible, Edberg managed to finish seventeenth.

Max Werner showed good speed in the EMX250 class. At the start of the first moto he had wheelspin but by gaining many places in the first few corners, he moved up to seventh place. He then worked his way up to third place and almost took over second place. However, shortly afterwards, a back marker lost control when entering a jump, forcing Werner to change lines and crashing hard.

A lot of time was lost and I crossed the finish line in seventh place.

In the second moto his start was better and he was able to start the race in the top five. Unfortunately, after a few laps, he got a block pass from another rider that caused him to crash on a hill. From sixteenth place, he came back to thirteenth position, but unfortunately he then suffered mechanical problems that forced him to retire the race.

This weekend, the next Grand Prix will be held in Lugo, Spain.
