Noel Zanocz finishes fourth in EMX250 in Arnhem

JM Racing Honda’s Noel Zanocz claimed fourth overall in the penultimate round of the EMX250 Championship in Arnhem. Zanocz struggled to find his rhythm on the track and had to settle for third and sixth places in the motos.

After setting the third fastest time in qualifying, Zanocz didn’t get away well at the start of the opening moto. However, by making smart choices in the first few corners, he quickly moved up to third place. He followed the two leaders closely, but as they had a slightly higher pace, he wasn’t able to attempt any overtakes. Zanocz finished the first moto in third and was motivated to go for more in the second race.

In moto two, a poor start left him down in around eighteenth place. Zanocz struggled to find his rhythm but kept fighting all the way. In the end, he salvaged a sixth-place finish, which gave him fourth overall on the day. In the EMX250 Championship standings, he remains in second place.

Brent van Doninck was unable to find the right feeling on Arnhem’s demanding sand circuit. In the first moto, Van Doninck worked his way from around fifteenth up to tenth, but a crash cost him several positions. He eventually finished fourteenth and was determined to improve in race two.

A weaker start in the second moto left him with work to do, but during the race he closed in on a group battling for positions just outside the top ten. Matching the pace of the two riders ahead of him, he couldn’t make the difference and crossed the line in twelfth.

With these results, Van Doninck finished twelfth overall for the day. The next Grand Prix will take place on the weekend of September 6-7 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey.

Noel Zanocz takes second consecutive victory in the EMX250 class

Noel Zanocz of JM Racing Honda has claimed victory in the EMX250 race in Uddevalla, Sweden. This marks his second win in a row in the category.

Zanocz felt comfortable on the track during practice sessions. He set the fastest time in his group during time practice and entered the opening moto with confidence.

A strong start in the first race was briefly interrupted when he lost his balance and had to roll off the throttle, dropping him back to around tenth place. On a track where overtaking was difficult, Zanocz fought his way forward and secured a solid third-place finish.

In the second moto, he got off to a better start and began the race around fourth or fifth position. Finding a good rhythm, he managed to overtake the riders in front of him and took the lead midway through the race. Zanocz kept up the pace and never relinquished his advantage, crossing the line as the winner.

With 3-1 results, Zanocz secured the overall victory, his second consecutive triumph in the EMX250 class. In the championship standings, he remains in a strong second place.

Brent van Doninck suffered misfortune in the opening moto. While riding inside the top fifteen, a stone jammed his rear brake, causing him to miss a corner and crash. Despite losing many positions, he managed to salvage a twentieth-place finish.

In the second moto, Van Doninck bounced back in the highly competitive MXGP class with a strong ninth-place result.

He finished fourteenth overall on the day and now sits nineteenth in the MXGP World Championship standings.

Next up for JM Racing Honda is the Dutch Grand Prix in Arnhem.

Brent van Doninck Ninth in Home Grand Prix at Lommel

Brent van Doninck of the JM Racing Honda team secured ninth place in his home Grand Prix in Lommel.

Van Doninck started the weekend strongly by setting the ninth-fastest time in Sunday’s time practice and finishing seventh in the qualifying heat. This result boosted his confidence heading into race day.

In the first moto, Van Doninck grabbed an excellent start and rode a fantastic race. Up until three laps from the end, he was holding fifth place, but then fatigue struck hard. He was forced to reduce his pace and lost two positions. Completely exhausted, he eventually crossed the finish line in seventh place.

The second moto began with a setback. In the third corner after the start, Van Doninck crashed and had to remount in last place. From there, he launched a determined charge through the field, giving everything he had. His efforts were rewarded with an eleventh-place finish, which earned him ninth overall in the day’s classification.

After two intense race weekends in Loket and Lommel, where David Braceras gave everything to deliver strong motos, unfortunately another physical setback occurred.

On Saturday in Lommel, things were still heading in a positive direction: Braceras claimed a solid 9th place in the qualifying race and felt ready for a consistent race Sunday. However, in the first moto on Sunday, an incident happened: after a small crash, the rider behind him couldn’t avoid contact. The impact resulted in a fractured ilium – a painful and frustrating injury for the young Spaniard.

Braceras will now return to Spain for further medical examinations to determine the precise recovery period and outline the steps required for rehabilitation.

David Braceras: “After giving everything in Loket and Lommel and finally putting together some solid motos, another setback comes along. Saturday went well with P9 in the qualifying heat, but Sunday it all went wrong. A small crash, and the rider behind me couldn’t avoid me. The result: a fractured ilium. Now heading back to Spain for more checks. It’s time to be patient, recover properly, and come back stronger – like always. Big thanks to everyone who helped me and for all the messages. There’s still a lot of Braceras left in the tank. See you soon!”

The JM Racing Honda team wishes David a speedy and full recovery and looks forward to seeing him back on the bike.

Braceras and Van Doninck Show Strength at MXGP of Czech Republic

David Braceras and Brent van Doninck of the JM Racing Honda team both put in strong performances at the fourteenth round of the World Championship in Loket, Czech Republic.

Van Doninck qualified seventh for the race on Saturday and showed solid form in the first moto. He looked set for a top-ten finish until he was hit by another rider in the heat of the battle and was forced into the pits. Fortunately, the incident didn’t lead to any injuries, but it could have ended much worse for Van Doninck. He recovered well in the remainder of the race and crossed the line in ninth. However, after the race, he was disqualified for not stopping after entering the pits, according to the race officials.

Following the disappointment of the first moto, Van Doninck was motivated to push for a top-ten result in the second.

Unfortunately, things went wrong at the start when he was caught up in a crash. He had to begin the race from last position but fought his way back to an impressive ninth-place finish.

Due to his zero score in the first moto, Van Doninck missed out on a top-ten overall result and ended the day in nineteenth place.

After a long break since the race in England due to an ankle injury, Braceras finally returned to action this weekend. It was a solid comeback after several difficult weeks. He felt good throughout the weekend and posted the tenth-fastest time in qualifying.

Unfortunately, he had bad luck in the qualifying race: he crashed at the start and later suffered a heavy fall, forcing him to retire early. As a result, he had to line up last at the gate on Sunday. Despite this setback, he got off to decent starts in both motos and rode consistently. With a 10th and 11th place finish, he secured 11th overall for the day. Not spectacular results, but a solid foundation to build on — and he is happy with how the weekend turned out.

He can now resume normal training and focus on rebuilding his confidence ahead of the next rounds.

Next weekend, the team’s home Grand Prix takes place in Lommel.

Noel Zanocz began the weekend with the seventh-fastest time in qualifying and was determined to improve in the motos. He had a poor start in the first moto and began the race in ninth. Over the course of the race, he moved up to second place, but a small mistake forced him to surrender that position, eventually finishing third. Unhappy with his performance, Noel was eager to redeem himself in Sunday’s second moto.

After a good start in the second moto, he moved from fourth to second and then set his sights on the leader. In the second half of the race, he made the pass and pulled away to take a convincing win.
